OK…What Is A “Gravatar”

September 29th, 2009 James Leave a comment Go to comments

Here at Work From Home Australia, we are committed to giving you simple yet effective steps to building your business. Sometimes I will deliver
profound yet powerful strategies for you to use, things for you to think on, or like today something that is simple and will allow you to
build your profile, even if it is only in a small way.

Please note, I said small, NOT unimportant.

Have you ever been to website and people have left their comments on a post etc and next to their comment you can see a picture of them? When you looked
did you think to yourself “How do I do that?” Well today I am going to show you how you can have your own image next to your comments that you leave on the posts.

Why should you leave a comment when visiting someone elses site? Well for two reasons!

  1. It lets the author know what their readers are thinking. This is important for their own site development.
  2. It gives you profile. Who knows someone may follow your link (if you have a website) and come to check out what you are up to. (yes people do do that, well at least I do anyway)

So watch the video below. It is very simple for you to do this.

My Challenge To You!!!

When you watch the video, go and set up your image and come back and leave a comment to show me you did it…Click here once you have watched the short video to be taken to the Gravatar Site…

Thanks James, I want to learn about social networking but am a beginner. These are really helpful to me. I usually listen to your conference calls too. I was one of the 3 still there on Tuesday night at the end. Had visitors so taped it and couldnt work out what was going on for a sec! Am a M/Associate.
